From Suvarnabhumi Airport
1. Direct Bus no. S1 (Bangkok’s shuttle bus service from 6am to 8pm, runs every 30 minutes)
It is the cheapest way to reach Khao San road and the historical centre of the city (Cost: 60 Thai bhat). The ticket can be bought on board (cash only, bring small notes). Go to gate 7 on the first floor of the passenger terminal to get on the bus. The bus stops near our hostel, taking approximately 1 hour from the airport. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Lan Luang stop (in front of Thai Airways Lan Luang office). Phan Fa Heritage is less than 100 meters away on the opposite side of the Thai Airways building.
2. Airport Rail Link
Take the airport rail link from the underground floor and get off at the last station (Phaya Thai station). Then, take a taxi from there. It should take around 15-30 minutes depending on the traffic (60-100Thb with the meter on). Give the driver our address or tell them to go to Lan Luang road and drop you off in front of Thai Airways building. Phan Fa Heritage is less than 100 meters away on the opposite side of the Thai Airways building.
3. Taxi
From the airport, it should take around 1 hour and cost about 300 Thb. They use the meters + 50Thb for the airport taxi fees. Tell the driver to go to Thai Airways office on Lan Luang road.
From Don Muang Airport
1. Direct Bus no. A4 (Bangkok’s shuttle bus service from 7am to 11pm, runs every 30 minutes)
It is the cheapest way to reach Khao San road and the historical center of the city (50 Thb). The ticket can be bought on board (cash only, bring small notes). Go to Gate 6 on the first floor for Terminal 1, Gate 12 for Terminal 2 to get on the bus. The bus stops near our hostel, taking approximately 1 hour from the airport. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Lan Luang stop (in front of Thai Airways Lan Luang office). Phan Fa Heritage is less than 100 meters away on the opposite side of the Thai Airways building.
2. Taxi
From the airport, it should take around 1 hour and cost about 200-300 Thb. Tell the driver to go to Thai Airways office on Lan Luang road.
